the chain

MemeCore. the chain pantheon.meme lives on. native token $M. every mint, royalty, auction payment, dump, and DAO execution settles here in $M. no bridges in the critical path.

the collection

Meme Deity. one of 1,696 pixel-art characters pulled from real-world mythologies — greek, egyptian, norse, shinto, vedic, yoruba, aztec, and more. each deity is a distinct NFT with fixed traits: mythology, domain, appearance, story, plus a set of flavor traits (prop, sidekick, sound effect, outfit, vibe, background, palette).

Pantheon. a grouping of deities by cultural origin — "Hellenic," "Shinto," "Vedic," etc. pantheons cluster into broader regions like "West African & Diasporic" or "Nile & Mesopotamia" for browsing.

Icon vs. Underground. some deities are flagged ★ ICON — household names like Zeus, Anubis, Amaterasu. the rest are UNDERGROUND — lesser-known figures from the same pantheons. icons sort first in the deity selector.

the mint

Holy Spirit. a fungible claim token. 1 Holy Spirit = the right to summon 1 unclaimed deity. it's what you actually buy in the auction.

Reflexive Dutch Auction (RDA). the continuous auction that prices Holy Spirits. one Holy Spirit per round. rounds are 6.9 hours long. price decays quadratically from ceiling to floor inside each round, and each clearing price sets the next round's ceiling. full breakdown on the RDA page.

Summoning. once you hold a Holy Spirit, you open the deity selector, filter by mythology / pantheon / region, and summon any unclaimed deity you want. first-in-first-summoned. no RNG. no reveal.

the token

$HOLYSHIT (ticker: $SHIT). the coin the collection emits. hard cap: 69,696,696. circulating supply is elastic because dumps recycle back into the pool.

Pool. the non-custodial smart contract holding the live $SHIT balance. deity holders claim from it; dumps flow into it. displayed live in-app.

Shitting. the act of claiming your deity's $SHIT payout. each deity can shit once per 69-hour cooldown. payout = 0.069% of the live pool balance per shit (~48–50K $SHIT per deity per cycle at full pool).

Cooldown. 69 hours per deity. shown as a live countdown.

Dumping. burning $SHIT from your wallet to boost a collection on /explore. 100% of dumped tokens recycle straight back into the pool. not a sale — a pro-social burn dressed up as the crudest possible word.

Boost. the temporary rank lift a collection gets from recent dumps. visible on the boost strip on /explore and on the dump leaderboard.

the DAO

One deity, one vote. voting weight = deities in your wallet. 5 deities = 5 votes. the whole supply (1,696) is the hard ceiling for any single holder — buying your way past it is not possible.

Proposal. a structured on-chain ask. five kinds:

• Feature drop — pin a collection to /drops for N days.
• Creator grant — send treasury funds to an artist or team.
• Treasury spend — diversify or allocate reserves.
• LP & self-reward — use treasury to add liquidity for $HOLYSHIT on DEXes (or otherwise deploy funds in ways that strengthen the DAO itself). LP fees come back to the treasury. this is the one proposal kind where treasury money doesn't leave the DAO's orbit.
• Parameter change — tweak protocol constants (payout fraction, cooldown hours, etc).

Quorum. 69 deity-votes have to be cast for a proposal to count. ~4.1% of supply.

Threshold. 69% of cast votes (excluding abstain) must be "For" to pass.

Lifecycle. Active → Passed / Failed → Queued → Executed. every historical proposal stays visible with full vote breakdowns.

Treasury. the on-chain pool the DAO controls. holds mostly $M — it collects the royalty cut from every marketplace trade. funds only move when a proposal passes. not the same thing as the Pool: dumped $SHIT flows to the Pool (where deities claim from), not here.

the marketplace

Collection. a set of items from a single creator. has a floor price, total volume, holder count, trait catalog, analytics, activity.

Item. a single NFT. belongs to exactly one collection. has traits, offers, and an optional listing or auction.

Drop. a curated mint event with phased access (allowlist, public, holder-exclusive). featured and scheduled — different from the freeform /create path.

Floor price. the lowest listed price in a collection. shown everywhere: collection headers, rankings, explore boost strip.

Rankings. the global volume leaderboard. filterable by category, time window, and chain.
